There is also a lot of emotes rewarded through quests and they can really personalize your character. FFXIV also show message in chat when a player use an emote (can be turned off) In gw2 people don't really know what kind of emotes they can do and they dont have the same popularity as ffxiv emotes.
Currently, emotes are grey-on-grey, which makes several roleplayers roleplaying in an area extremely difficult to read. I recommend tinting emote text slightly yellow (Lemon, maybe?) to differentiate it from chat and keeping the roleplayer's name the green color currently used.
